View The Coronado Bridge from Downtown San Diego

Views from the deck
Search 92101 San Diego View Properties  I was surprised to find that we have the best 2 bedroom listing in Downtown San Diego right now for under $700,000 that has awesome views of The Coronado Bridge.  It is a sunny Southeast location overlooking the urban canyon of City Front Terrace.  This prestigious historic brick building was the former home of The Old Soap Factory.  It has been lovingly restored and is now 320 condo units in the prime Marina District.  You will find no nicer fitness center and it has 2 pools!  There is a 24/7 staff to serve all of your needs and even valet park for you.  CLICK HERE  for photos of 500 W. Harbor Drive 1019.  Just listed for $667,500 and comes with a private storage.

How about the 23rd Floor of The Harbor Club?  We just listed this southwest view condo for $749,900.  Walls of windows, wood floors and neutral paint throughout.  The
amenities in the building are compared to the finest resorts and the 41 story black twin towers are a focal point for Downtown San Diego visitors.

The Coronado Bridge was opened in 1969 and originally opposed by the US Navy because they were afraid of sabotage and entrapping the naval ships stationed in San Diego.  The bridge could only provide 200 feet of clearance for security reasons.  It was originally a toll bridge but has been free since 2009.  There has been talk to reinstate the toll to go towards an underground tunnel or a drop down pedestrian/bike path.   In 2008 there was an international call for artists to develop a light concept.  The winner envisages illuminating the bridge with programmable LED lights using wind turbines.  No taxpayer dollars will be used and should be compete by 2019.

There are some awesome investments and views at The Electra.  1803 was just listed for $809,000 and has 1370 sq. feet.  ( CLICK HERE to view photos) with 2 parking and a storage room.  It has sweeping views of the harbor and beautiful cherry wood floors.  It was previously rented for $3500/mth. Unit #1503 is also available for $739,000.  Yes there will be construction going on around The Electra in the future but now is the time to get the best deals.  I think that The Embarcadero Visionary plan will make The Columbia District prices jump. email me at: marsha@sellsandiego.com and let me set up a tour for you.  It's fast, free and informative.  I live and work downtown and have the information you need to make a buying decision.
