The Most Expensive Condo in Downtown San Diego

Before I tell you about that one, there is a unique property that was just listed in Little Italy.  Since there are only 40 units in the building you don't see them come up often.  955 W Hawthorn St. complex called Waterfront.  It's a tri-level town home that features water views and 3 bedrooms plus an office.  With 30 foot ceilings it has a light open feel.  Asking $575,000 with $295 HOA.

We personally have 36 listings downtown now.  Rates are so low now and the sellers are motivated.  It is the time to strike if you want to get the best price possible.  It's always difficult when more than one buyer bids at once.  We were just informed that the lenders have stopped making loans on the studios.  That means that if you find one you like you should be able to get a great price on it cash.  There are still several buildings where you can get low down financing options.  I have a list upon request.

Living in Downtown San Diego is like living in a vertical version of a suburban housing development.  They each have their own unique character, sense of community and amenities.  The air is fresh, the sun is always shining and you are minutes away from restaurants and shopping.   You don't leave your car until you are inside the gated parking.  Most buildings have good security and offer an array of services from valet parking, dry cleaning pickup, to guest suites for your visitors.  Did you know that there are buildings with private massage rooms, attendants that wash your cars, guest parking for over 140 people, salt water pools, movie rooms, wine tasting rooms, billiard rooms, yoga classes, personal trainers, dog walkers, card groups,  regular band performers and a rooftop helicopter pad!
We also have the most expensive listing in 92101.  It's the Penthouse at the prestigious Harbor Club.  Built in 1992 the units originally came with boat slips.  Now the twin towers are a landmark in Downtown San Diego.  The epitome of penthouse living on the top floor.  The finishes in this
4400 sf unit are unbelievable.  Crocodile stair risers, petrified wood, semi-precious slabs, Inca gold limestone flooring, zebra-wood cabinetry, onyx sinks and a hydraulic lift flat-screen TV.  Your own private elevator takes you to  your unit.
