New Downtown San Diego Projects

Broadway between 7th Ave. and 8th Ave.  Plans are for a 40 foot tower with a boutique hotel and retail space as well as residential housing. One of the last remaining full blocks of available property will be home of a New Downtown San Diego Project.   The existing property consists of rundown and underutilized retain, parking and office space and will be demolished to make way for a mixed-use retail and residential community.  It will be designed to help revitalize the land between the Gaslamp quarter and Financial District.   Groundbreaking is set for late in 2015.  There will be a range of dining and shopping options.  The cost will exceed $250 million making it
one of the largest planned new downtown San Diego projects.  Developer is Zephyr Partners.
