Downtown San Diego Fireworks

We are so excited for the Downtown San Diego Fireworks tonight.  We will be viewing from the 33rd floor here at The Pinnacle but the sky will be filled with fireworks from many locations.  On my morning walk, there were hundreds of tents already staked out along the Embarcadero parks with their grills ready and their chairs pointed out to the bay.  San Diegians really know how to use their parks!  There will be a big party at our building The Pinnacle hosted by the HOA.  After the food settles we will head up to the top for the best views.  I hate to even mention the big let down 2 years ago when the fireworks all went up at the same time.  We thought it was a precursor to something spectacular.  After about 20 minutes, we all realized that was it.
I love living in a military town during the 4th of July.  It's unbelievable the amount of patriotism and events that they have surrounding the Downtown San Diego Fireworks.  It's awesome the way the navy ships cruise in and out of the bay with their troops at attention.  If you haven't seen it, you must.  Naval Base San Diego is the principal homeport of the Pacific Fleet, consisting of 54 ships and over 120 tenant commands. The base is composed of 13 piers stretched over 977 acres (3.95 km2) of land and 326 acres of water. The total on base population is 20,000 military.
Speaking of Downtown San Diego Fireworks, there would be no better place to view them than our #bestviewinSanDiego  located at:  100 Harbor Dr. Penthouse.  This is the epitome of penthouse living at the top of the wonderful Harbor Club in downtown San Diego.  It occupies 2 full floors and 4400 sf.  Just a few of the features I'll mention that really make it stand out are the greenhouse windows, and finishes throughout that are very unique.  Mother of pearl, semi precious panels cover the walks, Inca gold limestone flooring, hand hewn walnut floors with custom crocodile stair riser inlays.  A magnificent wall of petrified wood, a hand forged iron railing.  The terrace is one of a kind and contains a stone wall and pop up big screen.  There would be no better view of Downtown San Diego Fireworks  than from this deck.  Take a look at the details CLICK HERE FOR THE PENTOUSE
