The World of Loft Living

Lofts, lofts, lofts.   They are usually lighter with a very open feel and higher ceilings.  Exposed pipes and concrete give them an industrial feel. Sometimes they are overlooked because they have limited bedrooms and baths but an additions may be possible and they are usually more spacious.

Here are some of my picks.
Solar Lofts in Cortez Hill
Solara Lofts sits on Cortez Hill and was originally built as an office.  The walls and floors are thicker and the windows and doors superior quality.  The parking is good.  There are 2 units available right now between $290,000 and $399,000 and one comes with 3 parking and good outdoor space.  This building has some unique features.  Club Solara has a good fitness center as well as an indoor spa and massage rooms.  It also features a great handball court on premises.
Heritage House in Bankers Hill has some bay and city views
Heritage House
with high vaulted ceilings and a spiral staircase leading to a loft room and full bath.  It is 1400 square feet and is asking $649,950.  It has 2 bedroom 2 baths, 2 parking plus the extra loft area.  Very low HOA's of $395/mth.
Village Walk in the heart of LIttle Italy has
several loft plans.  The penthouse has some views and is listed for $599,000.  It has 30 foot ceilings!  This HOA is only $457/mth.
I like the loft feel of this top floor unit in The Marina District at Columbia Place.  It has the soaring ceilings and high end upgrades.  It is a large 1 bedroom plus loft listed for $505,000 - submit offers.
Columbia Place Marina Dist.
It's a 55 unit low rise building in a top location with lower HOA's.
If you are looking for a condo purchase, consider the lofts.  We have upcoming ones available after the 1st of the year so let me know your criteria and I will send them to you early.  All the best for 2018!  Marsha marsha@sellsandiego.com
