Is Granite going out in Downtown San Diego?

I've been noticing differences in the counter top materials.  Although Granite is still prevailing, other
types are coming aboard.  Quartz at $70 to $125 SF Man-made solid surfaces with various names between $50 to $100 a sf and even tempered glass and stainless.  I am wondering if in 5+ years the standard granite will be a calling card for the dated condo.  See what Berkshire has to say.
If you want to ogle a beautiful downtown condo take the opportunity to see the photos of our sleek 29th Floor at The Metropolitan The stainless counters are really spectacular!

2 wonderful 1 bedroom units at Atria in the heart of The Marina District.  Spacious feeling featuring sleek porcelain tile floors and high end wood with granite counters.  I like the open plan and generous balconies that you don't see in all of the units.  A really top fitness center, rooftop cabana area with fireplace and view and grocery right across the street make both of these little gems.  Lower HOA's too.  Just listed for $324,900 and $359,900.  Both should pencil as rentals or just awesome little downtown investments. 0 down for Vets.

Need some space close in?  How about over 2100 sf in Old Town?  Just available this 3 bed 2.5 bath town home has sweeping blue-water views.  If you're concern is stairs, this one has a private elevator!  How about a 4 car garage included and no HOA's!  These owners chose the granite counters and the kitchen shines!  $799,900.  That's $366 a SF!  See the photos
