Downtown San Diego is an wonderful place for kids to visit. This weekend they had a big event at The Children's Museum. This is located right at the base of The Pinnacle at 550 Front St. It was free and outside with booths catering to various fun creative things for kids. Go to http://www.thinkplaycreate.org/ to see the list of upcoming events. It's just an awesome place to take the younger kids.
It goes without saying that The San Diego Zoo is a necessary stop for any kid. Get there early and board the train and then get off at your favorite animals. Go to: Kid Stuff at the Zoo for more info.
Just catching the ferry or taking a water taxi over to Coronado provides a fun and inexpensive trip on the water. If you're kids are older, take your bikes and go across the island to The Hotel Del. If younger, just enjoy the little shops and eateries on the side where you arrive. Bikes are free on the water taxi and/or the ferry.
I have all sorts of fun things to do with kids. Now I just need some grand babies! Go to my website at: www.marshashepard.com or call me at: 619-995-1520 or marsha@sellsandiego.com to see all of the San Diego properties.
