Home values earning more than a job!

According to Zillow many larger city property owners earn more in appreciation than the minimum wage.   Of course this is money for the future not the present but owning a home has always been a good long term goal.  With 30 year mortgages around 4.5% and rents for 2 bed 2 baths in 92101 starting at $2400/mth I'm sure you can see the advantages of owning. May be a good option in lieu of your mutual fund investments.
