Robotic Parking in Downtown San Diego

Robotic parking is set to make it's debut in downtown San Diego in the 150-unit 28 story apartment
project at India and Beech Streets.  It has been described as something like an Erector set where cars would be automatically lifted into cages.  It's a risky proposition but if successful may be the innovation that is needed to solve the downtown San Diego parking shortage.  This project is set to include a few affordable house options as well as a mesh art installation geared towards Little Italy's fisherman heritage.  It should take 22 months to complete if approved at the November 16 meeting.
The Robotic Parking Systems patented technology enables parking from hundreds up to several thousand cars in half the area of a conventional ramp-style garage. This creates more space for design, development and community enhancements. Architects and developers can use less space for parking and incorporate more green space, retail space, residential or office space or combinations of these.
Robotic Parking Systems recently opened the first high-speed automated parking garage in the Middle East providing parking for 765 cars to a mixed-use development that includes office space, residential apartments and a five star hotel.

Here are a couple of great deals that you can get into for low down with low monthly payments.  Just listed yesterday!  Metrome in The Ballpark area 5th floor for $324,900 and 4th floor at Palermo in Little Italy for $349,000.  Very affordable and you will love living downtown or furnish them, rent them out and use them yourself whenever they are vacant.
