Changing Skyline in Downtown San Diego

The next big high rise will be Bosa's 221 unit 41 story condo building in front of The Electra on
Parcel 9 at Pacific Highway and Broadway.  It will feature 419 parking spots on 3 levels and 16,000 sf of retail space on the bottom level.  Prices will start at $750,000 for 954 sf!  It will feature a public art piece, a designated pet area, a 4th floor pool, a rooftop deck, 3 common indoor area spaces, and an off street loading bay.  The building will be accessible from E Streets.  Yes it will block some views at Electra but now is the time to buy there.  Once the new building is completed sometime in 2017 you can bet that the prices will rise.  The location is stellar and the units at The Electra will still have corridor and city views with many having views to the bay.  The walk ability of this area is unsurpassed with it's proximity to Little Italy and The Embarcadero.

The only other residential project with a start date is Ballpark Village by Petco Park.  It will feature 634 Residential units and 51,000 sf of retail shopping.  It will encompass 3 blocks bordering Park, Imperial and 12th Streets.  It will be targeted for workers in the area as well as some affordable housing and probably another grocery store.  It will be 36 floors and is slated for completion by 2017.

Bosa's other projects on Kettner and Ash ( 35 floors and 285 condos) and his lot across from The Harbor Club (38 floors and 172 condos) have no start dates.
